I purchased the prop from a guy ( RUSS GALE MARINE REPAIR, 19 Leisure Terrance, Weymouth, MA, 02188 ) russell at russghull@msn.com or Russ G at russghull@netzero.net

As you see from the advertising that it is from Russ Gale selling it to be rebuilt / refurbished by a Prop Company and the Prop place will send it directly to me.
What can go wrong correct? The picture of the prop looks good. It is going to be refurbished and mailed to me.


Russ Gale who sent the prop to General Propeller General Propeller Co...Your ONLY stop for Props, Shafts, and Marine Hardware and they worked on it and sent it directly to me : It is sent directly from General Propeller to me with all documentations that General Propeller gives / work order paper / etc. All invoice é tracking / General Propeller Co. paper work / etc comes with the sale.

The prop is garbage.
I paid $110 total for it to Russ Gale
But hey.. Its rebuilt / refurbished / something / or whatever they call it. I call it PAPER WEIGHT.
HEY did I mention it comes with all documentations that General Propeller gives / work order paper / etc. All invoice é tracking / General Propeller Co. paper work / etc.

Even General Propeller says its garbage in there emails (NOT IN THERE PAPER WORK) even though they did the work.
I have to clarify that even though the paper work says rebuilt / work done... this prop is garbage so don't think it is usable as a prop.

From the pictures that prop shouldn’t have been repaired.There is a lot of corrosion & holes in the one blade.We would suggest that you replace it.

that prop was run without a thrust washer, and I am sure Mr. XXXXXXXX, the guy who sold the prop, told us to go ahead. This guy, XXXX, buys junk off of E-bay, and then re-sells it on Craig's list, and has us do all of the reconditioning.

I paid using Paypal. WHAT A MISTAKE. EVEN THOUGH PAYPAL SAYS SAFEST WAY TO PURCHASE OVER THE INTERNET.

Because it is not an ebay item Paypal does not care as long as the seller has prof of a tracking # for a package sent to me. They could send me a brick and paypal would not care. Actually a brick would be worth more $ so thats why they sent garbage.

Bought a three blade propeller new $550.00 from General Propeller. Bradenton and new prop vibrated all over the place... also they gave wrong info as to what was required given size of boat engine, gearbox ratio etc. Won't take the prop back even though they say they are in the propeller refurbishing business.

Seems to me they are incompetent and don't stand behind what they sell. just an opinion General Propeller I think you are a bunch of losers.. If that's the way you do business I'll steer everyone away from you.
