This website has been set up by Michael J Bruzzese and Scott M Hare, Class Counsel representing the investors in the litigation against A3Union. We will update this website regularly to keep investors informed about the progress of the claims and distribution process.

This class action lawsuit arises from a Ponzi/pyramid scheme conducted over the Internet under the name of A3Union. A3Union operated from September 2006 until approximately December 2007, when it finally crashed.

Class Counsel, on behalf of the named plaintiff and all others similarly situated, filed a lawsuit against A3Union in June 2007. The Court entered final judgment against Defendants and certified the Plaintiff class on July 30, 2007. In its Order, the Court authorized and directed Class Counsel to make a distribution of all recovered assets to the class members who sustained a loss as a result of Defendants’ fraudulent investment scheme.

Since then, Class Counsel recovered $731,527.94 from Defendants’ accounts held by e-gold, Ltd. Class Counsel’s legal fees will be paid from this fund. The funds awaiting distribution are on deposit in an interest bearing escrow account.

On April 8, 2010, the Court granted Class Counsel’s motion to establish a claims procedure and setting a claims bar date. The Court has ordered that all persons who invested, loaned or otherwise conveyed money to the operators of “A3Union” and suffered a loss of such value, in whole or in part must make and present their claims to Class Counsel on or before Thursday, September 30, 2010 or be forever barred from participation in the distribution of the assets recovered by Class Counsel in connection with the litigation.

Please return your completed claims form with all supporting documentation by the claims bar date of Thursday, September 30, 2010. You can email a pdf copy of the claims form and supporting documents to a3union@hyiplitigators.com. Alternatively, you can send the original copy of your claim for and supporting documentation to Michael J. Bruzzese, 307 Fourth Avenue, Suite 1008, Pittsburgh, PA 15222. Please follow the directions on the claim form carefully. Incomplete forms or forms that are filled out incorrectly will be rejected.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a claims procedure has been established pursuant to an Order of the Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County in the Class Action Litigation against A3Union, docketed at GD 07-011538. The Court has ordered that all persons who invested, loaned or otherwise conveyed money to the operators of “A3Union” and suffered a loss of such value, in whole or in part must make and present their claims to Class Counsel on or before Thursday, September 30, 2010 or be forever barred from participation in the distribution of the assets recovered by Class Counsel in connection with the litigation.
