Bigstring.com scam?

Bigstring.com is a free email provider, and they have this thing called Peoplestring, so I signed up for it, and so it said do this survey and so I did and then it said I am going to earn my first 1.50. They are sending me a card in the mail and I put a code on it and send it and get 1.50. Now I'm not just skeptical of this, but also of this email address I'm using at bigstring.com. Any comments please?
