I along with many others have bought vehicles from Clair Laughard with promises of a great running vehicle only to find out that the vehicle is in desperate need of repair. I recently bought a vehicle from Clair Laughard the owner. Clair promised me the vehicle was a great running vehicle well after I bought it and the vehicle warmed up I quickly realized the vehicle was unsafe for the road the Gas tank leaked the tie rod end was bent the fuel sensor was bad and the list goes on.when I told the owner about the problem a few hours later he told me to take it to a garage where my vehicle sat for three days and that he would pay for the repairs after all the problems were discovered he refused to have it repaired.I am now in the process of filing charges at a district Justice to recover my money. just google Laughard's Chickaree Mountain Truck & Trailer Sales and see what you find A HUGE SCAM

Laughard's Chickaree Mountain Truck & Trailer Sales is a big scam to steal the public's money by supplying vehicles under false pretenses. These Vehicles are GARBAGE.

Why is Penn Dot allowing this car lot to remain open. These deceptive practices I believe are a violation of the laws set forth by the Federal Trade Commission it is illegal to misrepresent facts when selling a used automobile. I also believe that you have to post a buyers guide in every vehicle on your car lot you intend to sell

I don't understand how dealership's like this one remain open.

If you are planning on buying a vehicle from Clair Laughard at Laughard's Chickaree Mountain Truck and Trailer Sales save yourself the problems. Clair Laughard buys his vehicles at the auction and does temp fixing so the vehicle makes it off the car lot. Clair Laughard will lie to you and make you promises of a great running vehicle. PLEASE BE FOREWARNED look in the Traders Guide or find a private owner. Whatever you do don't buy from Laughard's Chickaree Mountain Truck and Trailer Sales.
