I flew from Dubai to Toronto, and unfortunately they had no food for me , though I confirmed and booked for vegetarian meals one month in advance. They had no issues on my food while going from Toronto to Dubai. But in return they had no food and provided no other alternative.
first they bought some shrimps, later some other meaty stuff. Being born vegetarian I could never expect this carelessness from Emirates having heard good reviews about this airline.
I had to starve for 15 hours and airline did nothing to fix the issue. I have written complaint on board , but even after more than two months I have not heard from them.
It looks like these type of airlines do not care for vegetarians or they do not need business of vegetarians, specially when more than 25% of their crowd is vegetarian on this sector.
I presume probably this airline doesn't understand any other food habit except dead animals based menu and I think this is pride for them
If they do not want to change their attitude and do not respect vegetarians, then they should better be flying only in their territory.
Tall claims and poor service. Think twice before you use their services. They have good fleet, but poor training and their management is outsourced to people of other countries..
EMIRATES REALLY SUCKS and it cannot be really line up for being best. In my opinion if they continue to make their passengers starve for long routes, then they have dark future ahead like most of American airlines which are on the verge of fall out.
It happend inspite of all documents showing that I had requested for vegetarian meals. I think crew hardly understand difference between dead animal based menu and vegetarian meal, so probably they sc..rewed up the trays by mixing wrong bowls.
once again EMIRATES REALLY SUCKS. Don't believe if they make tall claims and looking for your business.
