I want to share my bitter experiences with a company called Artha Health Options, which cheated me in the context of selling their product.
I was using a health package offered by them for last 2 years and it is going to expire in October, 2010.

On 7th Sept, 2010, I received a phone call from one of their executives.
He told me that because I am a customer since last 2 years, they have a gold membership which costs Rs 3992 that covers 2 master health check ups and unlimited number of visits for one year. He asked my credit card details which I shared with him after a lot of hesitation. Rs 3992 were billed to my credit card.

On 8th Sept, 2010, again I received a call from their office telling me that the remaining payment needs to be made.
I was totally surprised! What remaining payment?
Then the person told me that the gold membership actually costs Rs 9992 which includes unlimited number of visits, master health checkup, yearly vacation and it has a validity of 2 years.
I asked him why it was not informed to me earlier. He accepted the mistake from their part and offered to increase the validity to 3 years.
I was not willing to accept, but already Rs 3992 were paid to them and finally I agreed to it.
Rs 6000 were billed to my credit card.

On 13th Sept, 2010, they again called me and told that I need to pay Rs 19000 /- more for the gold membership. They told that the actual cost of the gold membership is more than 1 Lac and they are offering to me at a very discounted price of Rs 29000.
Earlier whatever I paid (i.e. Rs 9992 /-) was for just the processing fee.
Now what is this?
I immediately rejected this offer and asked for refund.
Now, the person is telling me that it's not possible and is trying to explaining his own logic.

My request to all you people is that please be aware of these kinds of frauds / daylight robbery.
Before going for anything, please gather information about it.
E.g. just goggle for "artha health options", you will get numerous complaints made by customers.
